Pocket Radio
I purchased this radio for listening to TV audio. I enjoy listening to TV news in the morning and evening. Warning! Effective February 2009 all TV analog transmission will stop. Only digital TV transmission will be available. No more analog TV audio. What a disappointment. If TV audio is not important to you the radio is great. I enjoyed listening to AM/FM radio. The radio is made of good plastic material. Battery life is better than previous Sangean models.

Good radio
I bought my DT200VX to use during my long van pool commute when I could not hear the van’s radio. The DT200VX isn’t as sensitive as I had expected, but probably not unexpected, given the strength of the stations and the fact that I’m picking them up from inside the van. Other similar radios are probably no better. Sensitivity is much better around the house. Controls are easy to use once I became familiar with them. Ear phones give good quality sound. All in all, it does what I want and I recommend it.
