Sony has included their MDR (micro dynamic receiver) headphones with the SRF-M37V. The headphones provide ample dynamic range and sound. The Walkman requires only one AAA battery, keeping the receiver lightweight and inexpensive to operate. I bought one and took it to the gym. It worked for about a week, then it would simply turn off if jiggled. It finally just would not turn back on. I took it back to Walmart and got another one. It did the same thing. $35 down the drain.

I love this radio. The presets are perfect. The simple layout with big fat buttons is a breeze to operate even when fumbling in the dark (if you should have such an occasion). Great power and battery life on just 1 AAA battery. Swap the battery quickly when it’s time for a new one and the radio retains all the presets in its memory. For the price, this is a perfect am/fm/tv sound radio. I use nice earbuds with this radio. I even plug in a small external speaker when I want to carry the radio around the house with me.
