Fun Kitchen Gadget
This small player has a really big sound. It’s fun to use my ipod in the kitchen without wearing it or having to bring a portable speaker unit from another room. I like the tv band too! Now while I’m cooking I can listen to my tv program that everyone else in the family is watching in the living room!!

i get about 15 channels with this antenna. the picture on the hi-def channels is crystal clear. don’t hesitate to buy this product.

I compared many items online looking for a portable FM tuner which I have come to rely on with my Nokia phone while dog walking every day. I bought this to take the place of my new phone without an FM tuner. Very disappointed in the sound, size, ability to lock in stations, nothing comes in on TV tuner at all, and the buttons to move to favorite stations are goofy. If this was a $25 item I would say it is worth it but not at this price. After I bought it, I was at Target and saw many options that were actually MP3 Players with FM tuners that would have worked as well for less money even though I don’t own any music to download! Live & Learn. No complaints about the vendor that sold it to me though, they had the best price out there.
The Sangean DT-210V radio
I’ve had my Sangean pocket sized radio a couple months and so far I like
it a lot better then the Sony Walkman radios I’ve been buying for
several years. I’m hard hearing so I like it that it has more volume when
I’m outside working. My Sonys would start working on only one side of
the ear phones. Then after awhile no matter how new the ear phones were
it still only worked on one side. I used a set of the old ear phones that
only worked on one ear with the Sony on my new Sangean and both sides worked. The Sony volume control button freqently comes off and gets lost.
Very irrating.They’ve been that way for several years.No such problem with the Sangean.I also like the removal belt holder on the Sangean better
then the one on the Sony.Yesterday I ordered another Sangean, for my wife.

Extra clean, indeed
I have to agree with all the other good reviews. You get an extra-large amount of cleaning fluid and an extra-large micro-fiber cloth. What else do you need?
I’m using it to clean my 61″ DLP TV and all our laptops. When properly used, it leaves no marks and it cleans everything. I am sure I will be a repeat customer only if… I ever get to finish the current one. I barely used one third after 6 months.
Works just as advertised!
My laptop screen was dirty and monster screen cleaner did the trick. You dont have to use very much of this stuff at a time for your screen to look totally clean. I couldn’t recommend this product more.

Pretty darn good…
We are happy with this unit, but as others have mentioned the competition for this type of product is pretty weak, so it’s only better than others out there.
If we were going to watch whole DVDs in this unit – one’s we hadn’t seen before – we’d be pretty distressed that the 16×9 picture is stuck at a wide screen aspect ratio, so that something that should be 16×9 is kinda squished top to bottom. Adjustments, other than switching to 4×3, have no affect on the built in screen. But we don’t really care ’cause we’re going to watch new DVDs in another room anyway. This TV is for company and comfort in the kitchen and it’s just fine for that.
The radio is very nice – we love NPR in the morning – but the tuning is funky like others have said.
The unit detected lots and lots of channels on the cable and supposedly some are in HD – but who can tell on a 9″ screen?
If it will just keep working for at least a couple of years we’ll be happy.
Customer Service Was Helpful
Our unit had some initial problems but they were solved by Audiovox tech support. Set up and installation are straight forward. The footprint of the TV works well with a standard above counter cabinet and results in a nice clean look.
TV
Our TV has an excellent picture with a cable connection. The unit has about a 3-5 sec sound delay after you see the picture on start up and on channel change. The remote is small with a lot of mini buttons on limited real estate. The TV is not perfect but it meets our needs and overall is a good value. This unit was for a second home. We are now buying one for our year around house.
TECH SUPPORT
Our unit worked as advertised for about three weeks. After a power outage we couldn’t get any sound, however the picture was fine. After a 10 minute hold I got a knowledgeable tech support representative. He thought there was a reasonable chance the unit was toast, so he did two things. He gave me instructions on how to do a hard restart / reboot of the TV and he connected me with customer support so I could get a return authorization (without starting over all over in their system). After getting my return authorization I played with the reboot and got my unit working. The family now has 6+months use with the unit without further problems.
Save your box. They have a repair or replace return program that sounded reasonable. Fortunately I haven’t needed to try it yet.
